Possibilities

"It's the most wonderful time of the year!" The season of love and joy, gifting, spending time with family and friends. For some of us in the northern hemisphere winter officially starts, the days are short and the temperatures are cold.

Yet there's a magical feeling in the air.

A new year is approaching and although the calendar year evolved out of man's desire to have a dependable method for tracking one's age, it also gives us a chance for new beginnings. To change things, start anew.

When reflecting over the year, there are things we are doing and ways of being that could be improved upon. Recall what happened and be appreciative of the good things that served you well. All that was less then desirable, let go.

But it's also a time of possibilities. A time to dream, to think big! How would you like things to be? What is your heart's desire? What does your soul yearn for?

Write down any ideas that pop into your head. Try to visualize them. Really dream. How would it feel if they were your new reality? What inspired actions can you take to make them happen?

Asking empowering questions allows us to be open to new ideas, to feel inspired. Our old thoughts created our current reality. Now's the time to plant the seeds for the new possibilities in 2007!
